Who we are
Currently Plastex is a leading European manufacturer of mirrors and automotive accessories with significant growth potential. Products made on our production lines are sent to recipients located in more than 60 countries. To satisfy the needs of our business partners our range of products includes an extensiveness selection of various solutions. Plastex has its own R&D department, an in-house design studio and a research laboratory. We manufacture top quality mirrors, corner protectors as well as other truck accessories.
Our team
We are a family business, where the proprietors, each with their own history, multi-generation traditions and values, take an active part in running the enterprise.
Experience based on knowledge, encompassing technology, processes and employee skills is the most valuable asset of our company. It paves the way to growth with respect for the environment and local communities as well as the discovery of new innovative solutions in the automotive industry.

Our story
How it all started
1950
The roots of our company can be traced back to the 1950s.
A small building in Myślenice near Kraków acquired by a modest entrepreneur marked the beginning of PLASTEX.
1985
The son of the owner, Waldemar Bania, takes over the PLASTEX production, trade and service enterprise.
1996
A branch opens and the company head office moves
into new buildings in Mogilany at ul. Myślenicka 4.
2000
The end of the second millennium heralds a period of rapid growth.
Plastex obtains first patent and quality certificates for its products.
2004
Poland’s accession to the European Union opens potential avenues for further growth.
That year marks the start of progressively larger export volumes to member states as well as the eastern markets. Years spent on improving products, expanding our range and reach bore fruits in the form of rapidly increasing trade on foreign markets.
2016
The idea of combining tradition with modernity is close to our hearts – respect for the past whilst focusing on the future.
An investment process entailing the new company head office in Jawornik initiated by the subsequent generation of company owners comes to a successful end. Top quality injection moulding machines become an intrinsic element of our innovative machine park.
2022
The company owes its position to rapid growth with respect for the human factor.
The most recognizable brand among Polish automotive industry manufacturers, one which is still setting standards on the European market started as a small family business, established in the 1950s.
